Ah, I love October because a. it finally gets cold enough to wear a hoodie or jacket b. Halloween is at the end of the month, and C. that means there is a constant showing of horror movies on TV.

Fridays at 2am there's always TCM Underground on Turner Classic Movies. Also their website is pretty amazing. Check out the Illustrations and Lost Scenes pages to see artwork from our heroes Nathan Fox and Guy Davis.

Then on AMC starting Oct 24 is FearFest. For one week until Halloween they are showing nothing but (mostly the horrible remakes of classic) horror movies. Look at the Schedules page to see what movies play on what day...there's some good ones in there...mostly just The Fly.

And if you happen to be living in the Tampa/St. Pete area, also starting Oct 24th is the Halloween Horror Picture Show. Below is their official schedule:

William Castle movies WITH the gimmicks? Evil Dead II and Ghostbusters on the big screen? Are you kidding? You had me at "Son of Godzilla". Though, not as totally amazing as the Shining Party, it's about as equally amazing as the 25th anniversary edition of The Stanley Kubrick Archives now available for $44.10 on Amazon.
