Smashing Magazine, an online graphic design blog did a post recently about Pop Art featuring "75 outstanding examples of classic and modern pop art" and I was fortunate enough to be selected! What ar the odds one of only two pieces I actually have on my Behance portfolio gets chosen...
My "Dia De Los Muertos" piece (originally for our Calavera Dia De Los Muertos gallery show) was selected and within a few days I have already been receiving several emails asking to buy it. Haha unfortunately I sold this for ridiculously cheap to a friend of a friend but I plan on recreating this to put up for sale in the near future. Now that I have access to a screenprint shop, I might actually be able to authentically do some Warhol style prints with each piece hand screened with each one a different color than the rest.
