From left to right: Metal Hurlant circa 1986 and the Metal Hurlant 2003.
This magazine with El Vibora are the most amazing underground comix anthologies.
I think Hurlant was overshadow by the way overrated Heavy Metal.
Hurlant was my first introduction to Jean "MOEBIUS" Giraud and Alejandro Jodorowsky. Both were working in the epic sci-fi saga THE INCAL.
I was 18 years old the first time I got a copy of Metal Hurlant and for that moment all my perspective about comics changed forever.
Next time I will talk about one of the more crazy comix magazine ever "EL VIBORA".

I bought my first issue (#13) when I was 13. It changed my life! I still have the entire collection.

After that I started getting more and more Europeans comix.
